Denver Law’s Summer 2025 OCI Sessions & Summer 2026 Recruiting Options
Online registration is now open for our two OCI Summer 2025 Sessions (May/June or July/August). You can also post your Summer 2026 recruiting opportunity at any time on our Symplicity Job Board. There are three options to choose from this spring and summer season:
► Summer 2026 Early Recruiting Posting – Post any time!
► OCI Summer 2025 Session 1: MAY 28–JUNE 6 (Virtual Only) – Register by May 9
► OCI Summer 2025 Session 2: JULY 29–AUG 8 (Virtual Only) / AUG 11–AUG 22 (Virtual or In-Person Option) – Register by July 7
The Office of Career Development & Opportunities (CDO) at Denver Law invites you to participate in one or more of our three recruiting options this spring and summer as you seek candidates for Summer 2026. Our office stands ready to assist and connect you with our students, and our students are excited to meet you. Denver Law has long been ahead of the curve in providing students with opportunities to learn outside of the classroom, emphasizing writing and practical training, and providing a dynamic, rigorous curriculum. In 2024, U.S. News & World Report ranked us #5 in Clinical Training, #8 in Trial Advocacy, #14 for our Part-Time Program, and #20 in Legal Writing. Pre-Law 2024-2025 listed us as A+ for Practical Training (8th consecutive year), A for Environmental, and as a Top School for both Online Learning and Women in Leadership.
*Please note that students will not have their spring semester grades until sometime after June 5. Students are happy to supplement their applications once their grades and new GPAs are available. Class Ranks will not be available until approximately July 8 (updated yearly). Denver Law Review candidacy decisions will also not be available until early July.
Summer 2026 Early Recruiting Posting (Non-OCI Option):
In addition to, or instead of, the two Summer 2025 OCI Sessions below, you can post your Summer Associate 2026 opportunity with us at any time here: Denver Law Symplicity Job Posting Link. We will then approve and tag your posting as an early Summer 2026 Recruiting Posting and promote it to our students along with our OCI sessions. Your posting may direct students to apply directly on your firm’s website. Interviews will be scheduled by the firm. If you already have an account set up with us, you simply log in at this link and post. If you need to create a new account, click this link, select the “Sign Up” tab at the upper right, and receive instructions for setting up a Symplicity Account with us; then proceed to post. If you have any issues is posting, please send us the information and we’ll be happy to assist. There is no fee to post a position with us on our Symplicity job board.
Summer 2025 OCI Session 1 and 2 Registration Details:
Our Summer 2025 On-Campus Interview program has two sessions so that you may choose the timing and format that best meets your needs, including a Resume Collect option. If you choose to participate in an OCI session with an interview date, our office will provide you the applications to review after the student application deadline, then set up the schedule for you once you’ve notified us of your selections. For those interviewing on campus later in August, we will provide parking and an interview room at the law school.

- OCI Session Registration Link
- Employers already having a DU Law Careers Online Symplicity account will simply login here at the OCI REGISTRATION LINK, select one of the two sessions in the drop-down (Session 1 or Session 2, depending on your desired day and format; Session 1 will pop up as the default); then sign up for a date preference (Request Schedule).
- New Employers/Users will click the OCI REGISTRATION LINK, select the “Sign Up” Tab to the upper right, and receive instructions for setting up a DU Law Careers Online Symplicity account; then proceed as above to select one of the two sessions from the drop-down, and select a date preference.
- If you have difficulties registering or need your login reset, please email gayle.keahey@du.edu or Law-careers@du.edu for assistance.
- In completing your registration, please be as specific and detailed as possible on your criteria/skills (preferred/required), job description, practice areas for which you are interviewing/hiring, materials requested, class years of students (including LLM students) you want to interview, and any other details unique to your program or position. If you are recruiting for multiple offices or outside of Colorado, please include those as well, as some of our students are often interested in these opportunities and have connections across the country. Including a link to your website and NALP profile (for members) is also very helpful. This information may also be updated after you register, closer to OCI, as we know you may still be determining certain information. Please provide us with any updates after registration, and we will add them to your OCI posting for you. We can also add your virtual link and names of interviewers after you register.
- Per Colorado Law, please include salary information in your posting (monthly, weekly, or hourly rate or range; or link to that information on your website).
- Register early for best selection of dates. The number of employers per day is limited. You will receive an email confirmation, with your confirmed interview date. More specific information on our OCI process for each session will be provided and coordinated after registration, closer to your OCI date.
- A fee of $300 will be charged for firms and organizations recruiting through OCI this summer. We will waive this fee for government and non-profit agencies, and for firms or organizations participating in OCI for the first time (or coming back to participate after a few years away from OCI). If the fee will present an economic hardship, please reach out to our office to discuss. There is no fee to sign up for a Resume Collect through an OCI session.
- Checks should be made payable to the University of Denver Sturm College of Law and mailed to: Theresa Baker, Sturm College of Law, 2255 E. Evans Ave., Suite 215, Denver, CO 80208. Please reference OCI on your check.
- If you prefer to make your payment online, you may do so HERE.
- Please make payment within 10 days of registration, thank you.
We look forward to introducing you to our students through early recruiting postings and/or one of our Summer 2025 OCI Sessions. We will also host a Fall 2025 OCI Session (Sept/Oct interviews) and Spring 2026 OCI Session (Feb/March interviews).
For questions about any of our OCI sessions, summer or school-year recruiting at the law school, posting a job, or other ways to engage with our students or graduates, please reach out to Gayle Keahey, Director of External Relations, gayle.keahey@du.edu. Thank you for making your opportunities available to our students and alumni!
