From University Boulevard:
Campus runs along the right-hand (west) side of University Blvd., between Buchtel Blvd. and Harvard Ave.
To reach the Sturm College of Law - Ricketson Law Building, turn right (west) on Evans Avenue. Turn right (north) again on Gaylord Street (one block before the pedestrian bridge over Evans) and park under the law building.
Walk straight ahead to the first traffic light, cross Buchtel Blvd and once you cross, turn left
You will be walking on the sidewalk that will take you immediately to the Cable Center and its small parking spaces, trees and patch of grass lot to its left,
You want to walk towards the small trees and grassy patch and make the first right turn onto the brick pathway that leads into the university where you will see a building with a bell tower (The Ritchie Center).
Walk on the narrow brick pathway and paved walkway alongside the building (which will be on your left), and the sports fields (on your right).
Once you pass the Ritchie Center building, follow the path that bears left, and has a little steep rise alongside the building.
At the top of the path, bear right, pass the “architectural lips” and walk towards a small street (E. Asbury Avenue) and construction of an almost completed building, across the street. You will see the L Parking Garage ahead of you, to your left. You will see another building with a tower (clock tower). This is the Ricketson Law Building.
Cross the E. Asbury Avenue, street towards the Ricketson Law Building, alongside the L garage.
This is the Ricketson Law Building (even though we are the Sturm College of Law, we are not in the Sturm Hall building).
Once you cross E. Asbury Avenue, pass the parking garage, and climb the stairs or ramp that will take you to the front doors of the Ricketson Law Building.
Many members of the Denver Law community park in the garage attached to the building but some also choose to park in surface lots scattered throughout campus. Parking permits are required to park in lots across campus.
The University of Denver is surrounded by residential neighborhoods, so street parking can be scarce and many streets are designated for area residents only. Visitor parking in the garage under the law building is $2/hour. There is a pay kiosk by the elevators that accepts cash or credit cards. The only way to access this garage is from the westbound lane of Evans Avenue.
