Professional Biography
Patrick has taught Environmental Law at the Sturm College of Law since 2022 and has guest lectured at Georgetown and American University. Outside of class, he works as a senior attorney at the Center for Applied Environmental Law and Policy. From 2014 to 2023, Patrick served as a senior attorney at the U.S. Department of Justice's Environment and Natural Resources Division, where he litigated cases involving the Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, and other environmental statutes. Before that, he was an environmental litigator at Beveridge & Diamond, P.C., in Washington, DC. He has briefed and argued cases in seven federal circuit courts and countless district courts.
