Melissa Randall

Before joining the faculty, Melissa Randall served as a permanent clerk to multiple judges at the Colorado Court of Appeals. She also practiced employment and labor law, where she represented corporate clients in all aspects of employment matters, including multi-million dollar ERISA and Sarbanes-Oxley lawsuits.

Professor Randall also taught law classes to undergraduate business, paralegal, and criminal justice students at the Community College of Denver. She wrote an award-winning business law textbook with her students that has been adopted in colleges and universities across the United States. Professor Randall has presented throughout the United States on best teaching practices, open pedagogy, course design, and specifications grading.

In addition to her teaching, Professor Randall serves on the Licensed Legal Paraprofessional (LLP) Education Working Group of the Colorado Supreme Court. In that capacity, she created and teaches the required ethics course for licensure, as well as continuing legal education courses.
