Professional Biography
Mei Lin Kis has more than 20 years of experience providing accounting, tax, and consulting services to clients in a variety of industries including energy, real estate, and consumer product goods at Integer CPAs LLC. Prior to Integer, she had various roles at regional public accounting firms in the Denver area. In addition to her role at Integer, she serves as adjunct faculty in the University of Denver Graduate Tax Program currently teaching Tax Accounting. She also lectures in various topics at continuing professional education seminars.
Her work includes annual federal, state and local tax compliance related to all entity types; equity transaction support including: due diligence, transaction consulting, tax modeling, and purchase price allocation analysis; representation of clients before the IRS and state/local authorities for notices and examinations; income tax provisions for medium and large business clients with issues including repatriation, loss limitations, multiple currencies, discontinued operations, and valuation allowance analysis; international taxation including consulting related to inbound and outbound entity structuring, foreign withholding under IRC §1441, §1445, and §1446, provision related issues, and compliance.
