Jay Stolkin

Jay Stolkin is General Counsel at Framework Ventures, a thesis-driven, blockchain/crypto-focused venture firm and registered investment advisor. Prior to joining Framework, Jay was an Associate at O'Melveny & Myers and then Paul Hastings. At each firm, he focused on representing clients in a variety of corporate transactions, including venture capital financings and mergers and acquisitions. Jay's practice also includes counseling on regulatory issues pertinent to the digital assets industry, such as compliance with SEC, CFTC, FinCEN, and other applicable regulations.

Prior to joining O'Melveny, Jay was the General Counsel at RADAR, a Denver-based blockchain and decentralized finance company that was acquired by Blockcap, Inc. Jay also served on the board of directors of the Crypto Rating Council, an organization formed by leading fintech companies to evaluate the likelihood that specified crypto assets constitute securities under federal law.

Before joining RADAR, Jay was a venture capital and M&A associate at a national law firm.
