Professional Biography

Ms. Jamie Buechler represents small closely held businesses and business owners who require financial restructuring, workouts, and bankruptcy reorganizations. For over 25 years, Jamie has counseled debtors, creditors and trustees, in complex bankruptcy cases and litigation. Ms. Buechler is a sought-after speaker on bankruptcy law in the Colorado legal and business community. She also served as a receiver overseeing the winddown of several businesses and liquidation of collateral. In addition to her bankruptcy practice, Jamie is an adjunct professor at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, teaching Bankruptcy Appellate Advocacy.

Jamie is an AV rated lawyer and a Colorado SuperLawyer© since 2020. Ms. Buechler is Board Certified in Business Bankruptcy Law by the American Board of Certification since 2016. Jamie received the Donald E. Cordova Distinguished Service Award for her pro bono work representing debtors in bankruptcy litigation in 2014.  She also serves on the board of directors for The Center on Colfax helping Colorado’s LGBTQ+ community.
