Seven Mentors Honored with Hall of Fame Recognition at February Celebration
What started with a single class in the Lawyering Process (LP) program has turned into a juggernaut that has guided hundreds of students as they take their first steps into the legal profession.
This year, Denver Law’s Professional Mentoring Program (PMP) is celebrating 15 years of bringing legal professionals and students together. Since 2005, the PMP has been a national leader in offering guidance on legal skills, career opportunities and much more to law students. But its strength lies not only in the practical skills provided but also in the personal connections it fosters and the dedicated mentors who donate their time.
On Monday, February 24, University of Denver Sturm College of Law Associate Dean of Institutional Diversity and Inclusiveness, Professor Catherine Smith, testified in support of the CROWN Act of 2020 before the Colorado Senate Judiciary Committee.
In a much-anticipated return, Denver Law students, faculty, alumni and staff put on a riveting rendition of Gilbert & Sullivan's "Trial by Jury" on February 12.
