Textbook Updates: Natural Resources Law / Regulation of Toxic Substances and Hazardous Waste

The "project" is for the drafting and updating of two legal textbooks: "Natural Resources Law" (3d edition, West Academic), and "Regulation of Toxic Substances and Hazardous Waste (3d edition Foundation Press). Both are third editions of these books, which are used in natural resources and environmental law classes in law schools by students and professors.

For the Natural Resources Law book, the grant is intended to pay for law student research assistants to help update and develop the 3d edition, and to pay for certain copyright permissions for small portions of copyrighted material within the book. The manuscript for this book is due to the publisher in November of 2018. It should be about 800 pages in length.

For Regulation of Toxic Substances and Hazardous Waste, the grant is to help all co-authors with their expenses associated with the book, such as paying for research, law student research assistants, and copyright permissions. It is due to the publisher in early 2018, and it should be about 700 pages in length.
