Pardoning Dogs (Sarah Schindler)

Through this Article, Professor Sarah Schindler is the first to consider extending the pardon power to nonhuman animals, and the expressive function such an act might carry with it. This work analyzes the limits of the pardon power, and specifically the power of the chief executive to pardon a dog.
