Professional Biography

Teddy Simpson is a Lasch Clinical Teaching Fellow in the Environmental Law Clinic. Teddy received his JD with a certificate in Environmental and Oceans Law from the University of Maine School of Law, where he also earned the Faculty Significant Achievement Award.

While at Maine Law, Teddy interned in the Maine Department of Energy Resources, the Maine Office of the Attorney General, and the U.S. District Court in Maine. In his third year, Teddy was a teaching assistant to the first-year Legal Writing course and served as a student attorney in the Refugee and Human Rights Clinic, where he helped his client successfully win asylum before the Boston Immigration Court. Teddy was a law clerk for the Maine Superior Court and, before joining Sturm College of Law, practiced land use and municipal law in Maine. Teddy received a BA in Environmental Policy from Colby College.
