Marissa began her legal career at White & Case LLP in New York, where she represented leading financial institutions and corporations in structured finance transactions. During her eight-year tenure, she managed complex deals, trained junior associates, and contributed to firm-wide initiatives to improve workplace culture. Marissa later transitioned to contract roles, focusing on SEC filings and corporate project management.

Beyond her legal work, Marissa's writing has been featured in publications on legal education and finance, where she has provided strategies for professional growth and development. Passionate about pro bono service, Marissa has represented clients in immigration matters, including asylum and U-Visa cases, throughout her career. Outside of work, Marissa enjoys skiing, scuba diving, writing fiction, and spending time with her family.
