Professional Biography
Jess Beaulieu manages the University of Denver’s Animal Law Program. Prior to this role, she practiced as a public interest attorney in the field of dependency and neglect at Muhaisen & Muhaisen, LLC. Previously, she was a fellow at the Center for Biological Diversity in Denver, CO, advocating for the protection of western wildlife. Ms. Beaulieu received her J.D. from Stetson University College of Law, where she focused on environmental and animal law. She additionally holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Wildlife Ecology and Conservation from the University of Florida. In 2020, Ms. Beaulieu was able to contribute a chapter to Randall Abate’s Second Edition of What Can Animal Law Learn From Environmental Law?.
