A post-graduate judicial clerkship is a proven way to supercharge most any legal career. These prestigious positions involve working directly with a judge, assisting them with legal analysis, research, writing, and other court business. Judicial clerkships typically last one to two years and offer unparalleled learning opportunities. What’s more, clerks often refer to their judges as lifelong mentors and benefit from a powerful professional network. Please join us to learn more about the many benefits of clerking. We will also discuss how externing with judge(s) during law school provides an excellent opportunity to gain directly relevant experience and to strengthen your clerkship credentials. Note: On October 11, the CDO will host our annual Meet the Judges event, in which students participate in small group discussions with judges and judicial law clerks. While this event is not a prerequisite for Meet the Judges, it will provide useful background information.
