The mission of the Legal Administration Program at the University of Denver is to advance the establishment, development, education, and training of the profession of managing legal organizations. To this end, we offer the following programs:

  • Master of Science in Legal Administration degree
  • Diplomate Certificate in Court or Law Office Administration
  • Dual Degree JD/MSLA

Founded in 1970, the Master of Science in Legal Administration (MSLA) degree is designed for individuals interested in a career in management and administration of courts, law firms, corporate legal departments, public law offices, and other organizations within the legal field. Our program trains students in the legal culture; the process of lawyering; and principles of business management unique to the legal environment.
