| Judge’s Day and Writing Awards Judges’ Day was created in 2000 by Associate Professor K.K. DuVivier, former Director of the Lawyering Process Program. Held each spring at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, Judges’ Day is an opportunity for the law school community to honor judiciary from the Rocky Mountain region and for students to interact with judges and to hear real oral arguments to the Colorado Court of Appeals right here on campus. The Reese and Hartje writing award nominees and winners are recognized at Judges’ Day every spring. |
