With the support provided by a generous gift from the Roche Family Foundation and Denver Law alum Robert Roche (JD ’88), this new international business law graduate program will deliver a comprehensive, internationally-relevant business transactions training in a variety of core areas. The Roche IBT LLM leverages the strengths of Denver Law’s nationally ranked International Legal Studies program, emerging Corporate and Commercial Law program, and the University of Denver’s nationally ranked graduate schools of business and international studies.

Upon successful completion of this degree, practice-ready graduates will have a strong grasp of international transactional law and business gained through an extensive curriculum in the areas of trade, commercial arbitration and dispute resolution, international intellectual property, banking, investment and finance. The flexibility of the program and a variety of course offerings allows students to tailor this degree to their specific interest and career goals. For example, it is possible to specialize in international trade issues or international environmental and natural resources law.

Our courses are taught by expert academic faculty and practitioners who are committed to providing a superior quality of legal education with an emphasis on the integrative experiential learning approach of Sturm College of Law. Through individual attention, support and guidance given to each student, high standards of academic excellence, a rigorous practical learning tactic and a wide variety of available resources, IBT LLM graduates will be able to competitively position themselves regionally, nationally and globally.
